Thoughts from “The Forge” Five Questions for February

Summary: “A year out of high school with no plans for his future, a boy is challenged by his single mom and a successful businessman to start charting a better course for his life. Through the prayers of his mother and biblical discipleship from his new mentor, he begins discovering God's purpose for his life is so much more than he could hope for or imagine.”

“The Forge” was such a powerful picture of God’s grace and transformative power in the lives of those young and old. It is only by His Spirit that we can live changed. Scripture is one of the most, if not the mot, important guide to how to live changed, however, there are practical questions we can challenge ourselves with to draw us closer to God and his Word. Take a moment below to reflect and ask God to partner with in answering the questions below.

What practical, sustainable ways do I want to grow today?

What kind of person do I want to be?

What do I want people to remember when they encounter me ? A fountain? A Drain? Light? Darkness?

How can I learn from others mistakes ?

What is my standard for righteousness, the Bible or culture?
