New Season, New Habits

  1. Incorporate more Vitamin D in your diet! You can take it in a pill form or increase your intake of Vitamin D rich foods such as fish and/ or dairy products.

  2. Switch up your workout routine! A few months ago, I joined a PureBarre studio and it has been amazing! I loved my old gym membership but the monotony was discouraging. I didn’t realize my lackluster routine was keeping me from being working out. It is so important to stay active during this time of year because physical activity releases those feel good hormones we can struggle to get in during this time. Go for a 10 minute walk in the morning, join a yoga studio, or a do home workout, just keep moving!

  3. Find a new hobby! Pick up a new book study, crochet, do a word search, learn to bake bread. Hobbies promote a sense of achievement, it’s a form of self care and growth.

  4. Connect with others! Have a movie night, join a netflix party, join a book club or find a virtual video game group.

God radically restored my mental health but I still take practical measures to prevent relapse it is OKAY. It is not a sign of weakness or a lack of trust in God. You got this because God’s got you!
